Science Time
This is a quick easy and cheap science project that the boys thought was amazing.
Needed:
2% or higher milk
plate
food coloring (gel will not work)
dawn dish soap
instructions:
put thin layer of milk in bottom of dish
let kids put drops of different colors in milk
put one drop dish soap in middle colors will move around and swirl on their own.
The fat in the milk instantly separates when soap hits it. This is a very quick project but they thought it was awesome. Clean up was also quick and easy. In an effort to prolong the project and be less wasteful we used the color swirls to dye coffee filters and hung them when they dried. Have fun.
